Members C bodies!

Joe's 1969 Chrysler Newport Custom:
Joe's ride started out as a 383-2bbl Newport Custom, purchased from the original owner for $100 and a bottle of JD over 7 years ago. Two door C-bodies of this vintage are hard to come by these days, let alone be in the great shape that this beast was when he got it. Over the years, the Newport has undergone a transformation, from pedestrian to evil, courtesy of a high performance rebuild of the original 383, new 727, M-code suspension with a "Ground Pounder" 4-shock rear, and bucket seats. An original F8 green car, the body was restored in 2010 and a new color was created to befit its image. A cross between F3 and F5, the new color was christened F4 "Phantom" Metallic Green. Additional custom touches included a blacked-out hood, grill, tail panel, door handles, and door sills. Oh, and by the way, did we mention that this Newport is a dailiy driver? Put that in your bleach box and smoke em!
